Heavy. I feel this in so many ways. I don’t remember exactly how I felt this time last pregnancy. There’s a term I heard called “motherhood amnesia” that (conveniently) makes you forget the pain and stress that comes with pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the first few months after birth that we like to call the “fourth trimester”.

So, I’ve officially set a record for how long I can go between posts. You proud of me? I know this isn’t homework and I’m not getting graded, but I do feel compelled to finish what I’ve started and post as much as I can until our daughter arrives. So here I am posting super late, but posting just the same. Last time we “talked” it was Mother’s Day and my baby showers were just around the corner.
